Innerleithen's tracks are regarded as the best and toughest in the UK and as such events are held throughout the year.
Glentress offers a range of trails for the beginner up to the more experienced.
Both centres are at the hub of the 7stanes mountain biking community and provide opportunities throughout the year to compete in local and national initiatives. There are a range of companies locally who can provide coaching for all skill sets and small and large groups.

14-16 August - Innerleithen Music Festival - a 3-day festival now in its 6th year, previous artists have included Karen Mathieson, Ally Bain & Phil Cunningham. Eddie Reader headline act for 2009.

Eastgate Theatre in Peebles provides a range of theatrical presentations throughout the year covering drama, comedy, film and music.
