Innerleithen's tracks are regarded as the best and toughest in the UK and as such events are held throughout the year.
Glentress offers a range of trails for the beginner up to the more experienced.
Both centres are at the hub of the 7stanes mountain biking community and provide opportunities throughout the year to compete in local and national initiatives. There are a range of companies locally who can provide coaching for all skill sets for small and large groups.

EDINBURGH
Annually mid August to early September - Edinburgh International Arts Festival - most famous arts festival in the world with 100s of street, theatre and film performances along with arts and crafts exhibitions.
CULTURE
Eastgate Theatre in Peebles provides a range of theatrical presentations throughout the year covering drama, comedy, film and music.
ANCESTRAL TOURISM
A wide range of ancestral homes to visit, including Bowhill at Selkirk, Traquair House and Floors Castle at Kelso.
KAILZIE GARDENS
Ospreys migrate to Kailzie Gardens in April each year where you can view the birds protecting their eggs. Snowdrop trails in February and March followed by traditional Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday and all seasons producing beautiful colours such as the rhodedendrums in May. Fishing all year round including hire of equipment mix well with beautiful scenic walks in the gardens, play areas for young children and various events throughout the year. Compliment your visit with a visit to the Gift Shop and round off with a light snack or meal in Kailzie Restaurant. Not to be missed!
